The McGrath Centre at St. Catharine's College, Cambridge
The new McGrath Centre is a modern, multipurpose building that houses an auditorium, meeting room, JCR and bar, bringing together function and space to meet, socialise and learn. The Centre was opened by the Chancellor of the University in June 2013.
The open plan foyer creates an excellent space for guest registrations, exhibitions and refreshment breaks with the option of separating the foyer from the auditorium with a retractable wall. Direct access is also provided to the hall, bar and additional break out rooms.
Visit the McGrath Centre websiteThe city is an attractive university town with a history stretching back to pre-Roman times and is particularly popular with overseas visitors.
Cambridge is about fifty miles north of London, from which it has excellent access by public transport (45 minutes by fast train) and by private vehicle. Stansted and Luton airports are nearby and are served by many European airports, often by budget airlines.
Visitors may also arrive at Heathrow or Gatwick airports, which are further away, but still readily accessible by public transportation.
